How to build a system?
Hi indiehackers! 👋
I've used Todoist for long years, also tried Notion, using Obsidian at the moment and checked out ClickUp a few weeks ago, but there are one thing in common. I always failed to build a system and end up not using the tool of my choice regularly and productively. How do you stay organized?
My aim for 2023 is to start validating my idea and eventually build it next to my day job and a 20 months old baby, so I'll have about 30-60 minutes a day to work on my side hustle. I got to have a system that helps me stay focused and do my gig without breaking the chain. Any thoughts or materials you'd recommend read / watch would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

The questions you should ask yourself is this...
Do I like the tool I'm currently using?
What features do I love?
What features do I hate?
How can I maximise the tool's features?
Based on your answers to these questions, find a tool that's in line with your specifications.
Sometimes, you may find out that using apps as simple as Apple Notes and Google Drive for organization may be the best for you.
Most of these productivity tools are complex and require a steep learning curve to fully maximise it anyway.
