I got my first sponsored blog post, how I make a couple of hundred $

Hi,

It's a huge milestone for me. I publish my first sponsored blog post, really happy about it. Even if it's only a couple of hundred dollars.

I love coding and building software. In the past years, I've been launching a lot of digital products (React SaaS Boilerplate) and also a SaaS. Even if I'm not making a lot of money from them, now it starts paying off.

I always take some time to document my journey by writing blog posts and sharing my experience on different blogging platforms including my own blog.

One today, a CEO of a tech startup (Upstash) contact me on Twitter if I'm interested to be sponsored for a blog post. It was totally unexpected and I'm really grateful for it. It wasn't some random startup but a well-known tech startup. I always wanted to try their product but never find the time to do it. It was a great opportunity for me to try their product and also get paid for it. Totally Unthinkable.

It took me a lot of time to write this blog post. I've spent some time learning and testing their product. I'm also not a professional writer. I'm just a developer who loves to write and share my experience. But, this time I have a stakeholder who is sponsoring me, so I have to make sure that I'm delivering good quality content.

I'm really happy with the result. You can find the blog post on Medium at: Build the future of web development with Next.js Edge Rendering and globally distributed database

Now, this experience definitively motivates me to keep going and keep writing. You can follow me on Twitter for more updates on my indie maker journey.

Nice! So they pay you to guest post on their site?

Thank you! I don't think it's guest post, I was paid to post on my own medium account. So, I also benefit to write this content.
