MicroAcquire for Indie Games- does this exist?

Is there a marketplace to acquire and flip indie games?

Thousands of games go undiscovered on Steam or itch.io. A lot of them could probably 10x their sales with a new coat of paint and some savvy marketing- maybe a reskinning/graphics upgrade.

Is anyone doing this?

Or in my case-- I'm a content creator with a popular IP to my name. I'd like to make a video game tie-in (think a simple mobile or browser-based game) but I don't want to make a whole game from scratch. Is there a scenario where I buy an existing game from someone and just reskin and retheme it?
