My ChatGPT Product Went Viral on Reddit - Here’s the Aftermath

We're not talking about a couple of upvotes, we're not talking about hundreds of views, we're talking big boy numbers.

In particular

Let's be honest, this is all just fluff

Let's see how my product benefited from this.

I received

  • 1,000 new users
  • 17 customer leads
  • 4 new customers (+ $60MRR)

$60 doesn't seem that much, but I'm very grateful for my first 4 customers.

The product I showcased is only open to the public for a month. And I've worked on it for 2 months.

So I'd say not too shabby.

The Strategy I Used

The post was very simple.

  • No link
  • No CTA
  • No sleazy marketing

Just a simple video describing my product.

If you're interested, here is the link to the original post.

I think this works great, be cause people will literally start asking about the link.

  • It drives engagement
  • It drives views
  • You still get visitors

The only downside is that you need to message all the people one by one.

But hey, it's worth it.
