I almost lost my mind earlier this week when trying to build an autoalignment feature for the Stylized.ai photo editor. Essentially we take in photos from users, extract the product, and stage it in a 3D environment. Sometimes the product is tilted - it looks a lot better when flush with the platform, so we now have a button to detect and try a rotation.
This was harder than expected because the openCV library has some pretty esoteric documentation, and numpy was behaving oddly, and I'm not good at linear algebra among other things. So I wrapped my story up and wrote a thing :)
