Our in-house tool can enhance your dev team productivity too

At Team Brilliant*, we found ourselves in a position where due to the different projects we were running at the same time, it became more and more difficult to keep track of our developers' activity. Engineering managers had to juggle through the different code repositories and platforms to find out what was going on.

That’s why we created ALTO (www.youralto.com), a product that helps engineering leaders improve software development processes of running remote-first engineering teams through timely, contextual and actionable insights and metrics.

Our decision to create and launch ALTO wasn't impulsive. Over several months, we transitioned from building ALTO as our internal solution to refining it into a versatile tool ready for adoption by any organization.

We have removed all the hard work and time (developers spend +30%** of their time building internal applications), so now engineering teams can enjoy an out-of-the-box product that empowers tech leads and their teams to take proactive control of their activity.

These are the main features:

  1. Automated reminders for pull and merge requests: Set customisable reminders and receive Slack notifications to help your organisation ship code faster
  2. Full visibility into your team's performance: ALTO offers an overview of your dev team's daily work, eliminating the need to sift through excessive data and helping you prioritise important tasks.
  3. Make your team work as an effective unit: Set your team’s ways of working and iteratively release working software that delivers value for your organisation and users.

(ALTO is FREE to use while we are in the beta version. Any feedback would be appreciated)
