SaaS pricing priorities?

Hi all! I'd love to gather some different perspectives / wisdom from this community on how you all have approached your pricing & packaging strategy for new SaaS businesses.

What was the primary goal / outcome you were solving for with your pricing & packaging at this initial stage of your business, and why?

I've worked in a number of different contexts — brand new businesses, growth stage startups, and established enterprises — but am curious about learning from others' approaches and experiences as well. Thanks!

Initially, you’re testing willingness to pay.

For new SaaS business I would put literally any reasonable number just to get started. When you have no customers, pricing is not really important.
