Seeking User Feedback on Sequel: The Digital Whiteboard for Easier Data Processing

Hello Indie Hackers community!

My name is Daisuke Mori, and I come from a background in data analysis, business intelligence, finance, and accounting. I have spent years observing the intricate and often time-consuming process of data gathering, processing, and visualization across various industries.

From this observation came the inspiration to create Sequel. Sequel is a web application that combines the best of digital whiteboarding and data processing. It's an easy-to-use platform where you can execute SQL-like operations including select, filter, merge, aggregate, and more, all in a friendly user interface like miro or figjam.

If you've ever felt the pain of having to redo your entire data gathering and processing every time there's a change in KPIs, important measures, dimensions of analysis, or report format, you could understand why I built Sequel. If you're accustomed to working in Excel or Google Sheets, you know how exhausting it can be to repeat the same tasks over and over again.

Sequel is designed to address these challenges by providing a unified hub for data from diverse sources such as Excel, Google Sheets, BigQuery, AWS, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Stripe, Shopify, and more. The idea is not to replace or automate visualization/reporting tools or data collection platforms, but to make data modeling and processing easier and less time-consuming.

Currently, Sequel is in its MVP / Beta phase, and this is where I need your help. I am looking for user feedback to iterate and improve the application. I am interested in hearing about your experience with Sequel, what you liked, what you didn't like, and any suggestions for improvement you might have.

Please take a few moments to try out Sequel and share your thoughts.

Thank you in advance for your invaluable feedback, and I look forward to growing and refining Sequel with the help of this amazing community.

Best,
