Selling 4 domains.

Hello everyone,

I'm familiar with a few domain marketplaces for professional buyers, but is there a marketplace especially for indie hackers?

I have the following domains in my portfolio that I want to sell:

Any recommendations?

Yes, platforms like IndieMaker and Flippa cater to indie hackers and offer marketplaces for selling domains.

Oh I feel seen. I have a bunch of domains. A couple of them are probably worth decent money for the right buyer, but many of them are worth nothing much. Maybe I would break even.

I keep renewing them because it’s easier than deciding to let them lapse or making a move to sell them.

If there are any indie hackers out there who have experience flipping domains, I would give up a healthy commission for a low risk, low effort, concierge product or service to sell them.

See if you can add any other value to them, besides the name.

What did you intend for them to be used for when you purchased them?

      Different purposes:

      • oknice was a name I liked
      • orat.io was a company I ran for 3 years
      • insurista was for an insurance project
      • dokurista was a project around PDF generation

Gotcha. I think you might have a hard time selling them since they don't have a clear product that somebody could build on them and they don't have any keyword value.

Domains that sell have very clear keyword value. If you have something that has keywords that people are searching for (buycryptocurrency.com, apartmentsinnewyork.com, aiblogposts.com, etc.) then you have something that you could sell, otherwise, people can go to https://instantdomains.com/ and come up with their own domain names and just pay the $10 a year godaddy fee.

With 2 minutes of searching I just found insurancehelper.ai and pdfsuperfast.com, both of which 1) explain the project better than your domains 2) are better for keyword ranking and 3) wouldn't require me paying fees beyond domain registration.

If you really want to sell the domain names you have, you might want to build apps/websites on them first.

Since it looks like there is an app up on dokurista, are you trying to sell that app or just the domain name?
