Slack vs discord?

Are you seeing momentum shift to discord for very techie teams recently?

The free voice channels in Discord are great, and the admin controls with roles etc. but the community/userbase seems hard to develop paid apps for? Some of the popular bots are on millions of servers - but not sure how much revenue they do.

Slack's API still seems to have the edge with buttons and /slash commands.

what kind of income are top slack apps/bots generating?
most seem to be mostly appendages / bot APIs onto existing products, not standalone new bots, so it's a bit hard to judge.
