Starting a B2B blog before building the SaaS product?

I'm curious if there are any examples of SaaS companies that started blogging about their niche before they developed the actual product? And another thing is that you can find a lot of information on Twitter about how to start a niche blog, but most of them are consumer faced. I wonder if there is a good resource out there about how to start a niche B2B blog?

There's no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best approach will vary depending on your specific product and industry. However, in general, starting a B2B blog can be a great way to build interest and awareness for your SaaS product before it launches. By creating helpful and informative content, you can attract potential customers and show them why your product is worth their investment. Additionally, a blog can be a valuable platform for promoting your product and generating leads.

I'd say that it's equally beneficial if the B2B product shares some of the B2C traits, such as outreach to users (not necessarily budget holders) who become internal advocates within organisations. Not sure about a high ticket price enterprise product whose purchase decision is purely based on certain stakeholders as they tend to be more difficult to reach via blogs etc.

I think that it's important for a B2B product to have some of the same qualities as a B2C product, such as being user-friendly and appealing to customers. However, I think that it's also important for a B2B product to be able to meet the specific needs of businesses, which may require a higher price tag.

I want to use this strategy as well not sure if anyone has used it before?
