The third version of our self-funded AR community & marketplace is live

Hey Indie Hackers,

I'm Dan Zaitsev, founder of Catchar and today I would like to share with you our 3.0 update. Our team would love to hear your feedback. Also, today we present Catchar on the Producthunt https://www.producthunt.com/posts/catchar-3-0, so your support will be highly appreciated.

🦾 What do we do?

We build a global web-community and marketplace explicitly designed for Augmented and Mixed Reality creators, studios and companies.

🔥 What changed in the 3.0 version?

We added a new marketplace module where Augmented and Mixed Reality creators can sell their 3D models, templates, and source-code. Besides, creators can buy and use these assets to build and deploy their future AR/MR experiences faster.

🦹‍♀️ Why did we release the marketplace?

We found out that some creators use PayPal, Gumroad and Etsy to sell and monetize their AR/MR assets. However, creators from the CIS region, Georgia, Ukraine, Asia and some other countries are limited in payouts from these services. Our system provides direct payouts through SWIFT and SEPA.

👨‍💻 Looking for beta testers and early adopters

We are also looking for early adopters who can help us test the marketplace and improve it. We are especially looking for designers, developers and studios who are ready to upload for sale their 3D models, templates and source code related to Augmented and Mixed Reality, Machine Learning, etc. If you are interested, feel free to join our beta-testing community on Telegram http://t.me/catchar or reach out to me directly across the web @dan_zaitsev.

📈 Catchar by the numbers:

• 5,537 users already registered
• 1,038 of them are professional AR/MR creators
• 68 AR/MR companies and studios joined us
• 1,776 projects submitted

💰 Business models:

Currently, we are testing the following business models:

• Subscriptions
• Marketplace transaction fees
• Promotion of AR/MR projects

Your feedback is highly appreciated and will help us to improve our product ❤️
