What is the best way to manage metadata in the HEAD in React?

Previously (3+ years ago), I've used react-helmet. Was working on a new project today that was set up using the vanilla create-react-app method.

Started adding react-helmet but then saw a mention on FreeCodeCamp (Oct 2022) that react-helmet was deprecated and react-helmet-async should be used instead.

Should I use react-helmet-async or is there something better and well-maintained?
