What kind of data are most important for your SaaS business?

Question is: what kind of data are you most interested in seeing visually? And is there an 'ultimate' dashboard of your dreams. What would be on that one dashboard which you open every day and can see EVERYTHING you need in one go?

We've been building an integration with GDS that visualises real-time data from your website - and are building out a bunch of templates, would love some more info on what would be most useful.

I think retention is the "ultimate" metric for software products. Good post from Reforge here.

I think it would be useful if GoSquared grouped metrics (engagement, activation, discovery).

I will start by saying as a data strategist my KPIs won't be your KPIs :-)
But what we monitor for our business
    Daily imidiat actions:

    1. Open offers in pipeline
    2. Product implementation percentage (how many paid and free clients finished the onboarding)
    3. Bug tickets (Amount of open bug tickets in the system)

We also have weekly and monthly KPI dashboards but we found this three as the most important as they giving us an overview on the health of our product and services

For us is marketing and unit economics data. Real-time data is also important, especially the behavior and navigation of users in real time.
